
Our Safari Overview
This is a package for those short in time with only a couple of days and need to experience a safari. The package gives you a day in Tarangire and a day in the Ngorongoro crater with a guarantee of seeing lots of wildlife giving you an amazing experience. Visiting Zanzibar or Mafia island can be a possible extension to this package or you can choose to do it right after you finish climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru.
DURATION – 4 days (2 days safari, 1 day arrival, 1 day departure).

Detailed Itienerary
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport upon arrival and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for pre-safari briefing dinner & overnight.
Meals included: Lunch and dinner (as per arrival time). | Accommodation: Lost in Africa Arusha (Acco).
Day 2: Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, Head straight to Tarangire National Park where your safari will begin. The Park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in the entire world that can easily be seen amongst its spectacular baobab trees that are suspected to live for hundreds of years. It is named after the Tarangire River which is the only source of water for the animals during dry seasons hence attracting lots of wildlife. Its many river circuits game driving loops will give you a chance to see plenty of animals on the river banks in search of water. After a full day of fantastic game driving in Tarangire we will transfer to our lodge for dinner and a night of relaxation.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater.
After an early morning breakfast at our lodge, we will leave and enter into the Ngorongoro conservation area and descend into the crater for a fantastic day of game viewing. The crater, the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site, is a collapsed volcano home to more than 30,000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino. After a fantastic day full of wildlife, you will ascend from the crater and transfer back to our lodge in Arusha for an evening of leisure. Should you choose to, you can visit a Maasai Boma as an optional activity to experience how the Maasai live in a primitive yet interesting manner.

Day 4: Departure – Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
