Our Safari Overview

Congratulations on Getting married!

Africa is the best if not one of the best honeymoon destinations and a safari can be the perfect honeymoon experience out there. Our honeymoon packages give enough time to explore the wild while also leaving enough time for just the two of you to enjoy. We will sure notify the hotels and our partner of your special occasion making certain that you receive that extra special treatment through-out the trip. You can top you experience by choosing to go on a Hot Air balloon in the Serengeti, although quite expensive, the experience is magical. The packages ends with and in Serengeti where you will take a short flight back to Arusha or fly to the Zanzibar or Mafia island to enjoy some days of relaxation by the beach. Either way we will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a perfect experience.

Most honeymooners pick choose the option with the midrange lodge or the Luxury Lodges. The comfort range option is there incase others who are not honeymooners are interested in the package (that said, we would not say no if you choose the comfort option for you honeymoon).

DURATION – 6 days (5 days safari, 1 day arrival).

Detailed Itienerary

Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).

Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport upon arrival and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for pre-safari briefing dinner & overnight.

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner (as per arrival time). | Accommodation: Lost in Africa Arusha (Acco).

Day 2: Tarangire National Park.

Early in the Morning transfer to Tarangire National Park. The park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in the entire world that can be seen among its spectacular baobab trees that are suspected to live for hundreds of years. The park is named after the Tarangire River which is the only source of water for the animals during dry season, hence attracting lots of wildlife. Its many river circuits game driving loops will give us a chance to see plenty of animals on the river banks in search of water. We will bring picnic lunch with us enabling us to explore further and longer. After a fantastic day in Tarangire we will exit the park and drive to our lodge for relaxation and unwinding.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early morning breakfast at our lodge, we prepare to descend into the crater for a fantastic day of game viewing. The crater is the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site, is a collapsed volcano home to more than 30,000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino. We will spend more than 4hrs in the crater before ascending and transferring back our Lodge with enough time left to enjoy the premises.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. | Accommodation: Eileen’s Tree inn.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park.

Early in the morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti which is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs and many more. The Serengeti, a park that’s probably more famous than the country it’s in is well known for its magnificent wildlife and eco system. We will get to witness its wonders and see Mother Nature at its wildest yet finest. Our game drive will begin shortly after being done with the formalities and entering the Serengeti gates and will continue till late evening where will make our way to our Lodge for the night.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. | Accommodation: Into wild Africa Tented Lodge / Tukaone Camps.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy the sunrise in Serengeti followed by a morning of game driving before heading back to the lodge for brunch. Afterwards we will return to a full day of game driving and leisure in the Serengeti plains. We will get lost in the plains while learning of its animals in their natural habitat and exploring what it has to offer which consist of a healthy number of lions (some say the largest concentration of lions in the world) and other big cats. Late in the afternoon, we will make our way back to the lodge/ Campsite for an evening of relaxation and reminiscing on the scenes from earlier in the day. (should you wish to go on a hot air balloon this will be the day to do it, either in the evening or early in the morning depending on your preference for this optional activity).

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Arusha or Zanzibar.

Depending on when your flight from the Serengeti to Arusha is you’ll go on a morning game drive after breakfast and later on your guide will drop you off at the airstrip in the in time to catch your flight. It is here that he will bid you farewell before you depart. Upon landing in Arusha or Zanzibar, you will be met by one of our team members who will transfer you to the respective destination.

Our game drive will begin shortly after being done with the formalities and entering the Serengeti gates and will continue till late evening where will make our way to our Lodge for the night.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park.

Enjoy the sunrise in Serengeti followed by a morning of game driving before heading back to the lodge for brunch. Afterwards we will return to a full day of game driving and leisure in the Serengeti plains. We will get lost in the plains while learning of its animals in their natural habitat and exploring what it has to offer which consist of a healthy number of lions (some say the largest concentration of lions in the world) and other big cats. Late in the afternoon, we will make our way back to the lodge/ Campsite for an evening of relaxation and reminiscing on the scenes from earlier in the day. (should you wish to go on a hot air balloon this will be the day to do it, either in the evening or early in the morning depending on your preference for this optional activity).

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Arusha or Zanzibar.

Depending on when your flight from the Serengeti to Arusha is you’ll go on a morning game drive after breakfast and later on your guide will drop you off at the airstrip in the in time to catch your flight. It is here that he will bid you farewell before you depart. Upon landing in Arusha or Zanzibar, you will be met by one of our team members who will transfer you to the respective destination.

Detailed Itienerary

Day 1: Arrival –  Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Pick up from Kilimanjaro International Airport upon arrival and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for pre-safari briefing dinner & overnight.

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner (as per arrival). | Accommodation: Ngaresero mountain lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park.

Early in the Morning transfer to Tarangire National Park. The park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in the entire world that can be seen among its spectacular baobab trees that are suspected to live for hundreds of years. The park is named after the Tarangire River which is the only source of water for the animals during dry season, hence attracting lots of wildlife. Its many river circuits game driving loops will give us a chance to see plenty of animals on the river banks in search of water. We will bring picnic lunch with us enabling us to explore further and longer. After a fantastic day in Tarangire we will exit the park and drive to our lodge for relaxation and unwinding.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early morning breakfast at our lodge, we prepare to descend into the crater for a fantastic day of game viewing. The crater is the 8th wonder of the world and a designated world heritage site, is a collapsed volcano home to more than 30,000 animals including all of Africa’s Big Five amongst which is the critically endangered black rhino. We will spend more than 4hrs in the crater before ascending and transferring back our Lodge with enough time left to enjoy the premises.

 Day 4: Serengeti National Park.

Early in the morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti which is home to millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, over 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, cheetahs and many more. The Serengeti, a park that’s probably more famous than the country it’s in is well known for its magnificent wildlife and eco system. We will get to witness its wonders and see Mother Nature at its wildest yet finest.
